I co-founded Venture Link Business Brokers in January of 2024. 

In my 50 odd years on planet earth, I have owned or been a partner in five businesses, I have exited four of them, some I lost a lot of money in the exit, and some I made good money from, my last exit was profitable:

In deciding what to do next, I began working for Johannesburg business brokerage: Luckily, I was given a great grounding to this industry, and had a fantastic mentor. 

My gut feel is that the South African small business market is a great opportunity for us entrepreneurs to contribute to solving the unemployment problem, in our country and to build a more inclusive economy.

When I was ready to sell my business, I found that there was a lack of information around the strategic planning side to sell my business, and so I have taken great care to offer those services to you, in the hope that I can offer more clarity than I had when I came time to sell my business. 

I feel there is fundamental misunderstanding in the South African market, and I found that while I might have wanted to sell my business, the market needed a lot of work for my dream to be reality.
